Session 1: Sunday, June 28 - Friday, July 3
Session 2: Sunday, July 4 - Friday, July 10

Ages: 8-13 at the time of camp

Rates: At Camp Kindred we understand that families have different abilities to pay for camp. Because of this, we use voluntary price options. Please choose the price option that works best for your family. All campers receive the same high quality Camp Kindred experience, regardless of the price you choose.

Location: Camp Kindred is hosted at “Turning Rivers” in Campbellsport, WI

Transportation: All campers and parents will meet at a designated location in Milwaukee for a pre-camp kickoff on Sunday afternoon. Campers ride a bus together to and from camp. On Friday we’ll host a diner for all campers and parents/caregivers.

Our schedule is designed to provide the maximum amout of camper choice, fun, and countless opportunities to connect with others.

Our day starts with Activity Choice time where campers will learn how to canoe, how to shoot a bow and arrow, play capture the flag, and design new creations in our "makerspace." There will also be time every day where the whole camp comes together for immersive all-camp games like "Timewarp," "Extreme Minecraft," and "Bug Hunt."

Our campers will also participate in "Kindred Time" a few times everyday. During this time campers will connect with their cabin mates, share about their experience at camp, journal, and learn to closely listen to the stories of others.

Safety

Nothing is more important than the physical and emotional safety of the children in our care.

  • Low Staff to Camper Ratio - We maintain a 1:4 staff to camper ratio. This low ratio ensures that campers are under constant supervision. It also allows cabin leaders to pick up on issues a camper may be having and address those issues quickly.

  • Training - Our staff undergoes intensive training in CPR, First Aid, building emotional safety for children, preventing bullying, and more. There is also a Registered Nurse or EMT onsite 24/7.

  • Safety Standards - Our camp is hosted at an American Camp Association accredited facility, which requires compliance with over 300 health, safety, and program quality standards.
